Commercial Cooling Preventive Maintenance Check

  • Check Air filter type and condition (replace if needed, extra charge)
  • Check metering device type
  • Check electrical connections
  • Check condenser start/run capacitors (bench and load test)
  • Check blower start/run capacitors (bench and load test)
  • Check blower bearings
  • Check blower belts
  • Check blower pulleys
  • Check contactor condition and continuity
  • Check for visual signs of refrigerant leaks
  • Start system, check starting amps and refrigerant pressures on all stages/full capacity, run system for 10-15 mins. before testing
  • Check economizer function (If applicable)
  • Check ERV function (If applicable)
  • Check subcooling
  • Check compressor superheat
